Resiliency Training
Resiliency is absolutely the key to both personal wellbeing and our ability to perform to our best. Resiliency is a skill, and as such, some of us have more than others, yet, we can all grow our resiliency.
Learning to thrive rather than just survive is a cliché for good reason. When you are resilient you thrive, embracing challenges and change, bouncing quickly back from set backs. Surviving is a very different story and comes at a huge cost. Your brain floods with hormones that impact you across all measurable outcomes from your physical health to good decision making.
These trainings are informed by the science of how the brain and nervous system responds under stress and the impact on your ability to make healthy choices. I draw on current evidence of what works. This training comes from thousands of hours experience in helping people grow their resiliency to restore balance, in order to be their best self.
A key aim of our trainings is to foster a workplace culture of positive support and open listening. The trainings are a mix of education and experiential practices, designed so you come away with increased knowledge, positive experiences and a set of tools to guide you in the future.

The window of resiliency 2 hours
Focuses on understanding how our brains and nervous system operate within and outside the window of resiliency. Learn about what happens in the brain when you are resilient and the changes that occur when you are under stress. Identify your own unique indicators of resiliency and stress in order to gain greater control over your behaviour and decision making process. Learn tools that will help you recognise when you leave your window of resiliency and how to bounce back.
Triggers and getting back control 2 hours
This training builds on the previous training. Learn the unconscious triggers that activate the survival/stress part of the brain. Recognise your unique triggers and start to rewire your brain in order to move from reacting to responding. Grow your window of resiliency so that you get triggered less.

Mindfulness Training
Mindfulness has exploded within the business community over the last decade and for good reason. Companies such as Google and Apple, sports stars including LeBron James are all seeking the benefits of mindfulness. Mindfulness is now seen as a key ingredient for both organisational success and change. With all the hype about mindfulness being a tool to make us feel good, this is only the tip of the iceberg.
At the heart of mindfulness is the skill of directing your attention intentionally and with purpose. Evidence proves that what you put your attention on literally shapes the architecture of your brain. Is it easy to see the importance of mindfulness.
Benefits include
Receptive to new information: Mindfulness helps us shift from a narrow fixed mindset where we are unlikely to see alternative possibilities to a wider growth mindset
Increased adaptability: This is the hallmark of great leadership and a nimble workforce. Mindfulness helps us become flexible and grows our capacity to adapt to challenges with more ease
Improved cognition: Mindfulness helps our problem solving capacity along with increasing our ability to access critical thinking
Improved emotional intelligence: Our ability to manage strong emotions is key in all areas in life. This is just as true in the workplace as it is in our private life. People who practice mindfulness are better able to manage emotions and are responsive rather than emotionally reactive
Stress reduction: Mindfulness has been proved to reduce stress levels by decreasing the level of cortisol in our brains
